Tours Substation - France |
 |
| Tours, 230 km southwest of Paris. The company has been present in France since 2001, operating in the regions of Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon, Millau, Vichy, Roanne, Rodez and Moulin. |
EDF has chosen MECI, a French affiliate company of ENSULMECI, for remodelling works on the Tours Substation. With this project, the company is broadening its activity in this business segment, in which it already has a vast portfolio in Portugal and also operates in Ireland.
The works to be carried out in Tours will be completed in June and in September there will be a new phase of intervention for tests and trials. The project includes the extension of the HTP busbar and the installation of a new transformer panel TR413, the relocation of the auxiliary service transformer to a PUC cabinet to be installed, all BT connections, and the installation and connection of meters for the TR 413.
The company started operating in France in 2001 following a Europe-wide consultation, having signed two contracts for the renovation of the gas network in the Auvergne region.
Today, relations with one of the world's biggest energy groups, EDF/GDF, are more solid and the number of projects has increased, as well as the company's structure, capacity and expertise. MECI - Gestion de Projects D'Ingénierie, SASU, was incorporated in 2006 and is 100% owned by ENSULMECI. The setting up of this company under French law follows the work carried out on French territory, the diversification of services provided and geographical expansion. MECI provides gas and electricity services in the regions of Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon, Millau, Vichy, Roanne, Rodez and Moulin. |
